Everest View Trek

Everest View Trek is six days journey that offers an exciting glance at the top of the world, Mount Everest. The adventure trip begins after 30-minute Kathmandu-Lukla flight. Sagarmatha National Park is the UNESCO heritage site as well as the gateway to the destination. The hiking goes bank of the Dudh Kosi River Valley with snow-clad mountain views. The first view of Mount Everest (8848 m) can glimpse after the Hillary Bridge one hour before the Namche Bazaar (3441 m). The second view of the highest summit can watch from Army barrack in Namche Bazaar. The third view of the Sagarmatha can glance from the destination, Tengboche Village (3860 m). A diverse landscape between an alpine forest and the highest part of the world offers breathtaking views. Flora, fauna, Sherpa people, nature, Buddhist culture, and cool air are a feature of the Everest Mini Trek that suits for limited time travelers.

Everest View Trek is worthy and valuable for adventure lovers. Trekkers should cross a couple of suspension bridges between Lukla and Tengboche. The Mount Everest can be visible on a clear day. Trekkers can watch the surrounding snow-capped peaks, such as the Kusum Kanguru (6367 m), Kantega, Thamserku (6608 m), Kwangde, Thame, Amadablam (6856 m) and Taboche while walking. Acclimatization requires in Namche Bazaar that offers to visit Sherpa villages (Khunde and Khumjung), an altitude clinic, Hillary school, and a monastery with the skull of a Yeti. A tourist learns Sherpa language, food habit, dress, Buddhist culture, alpine vegetation and wild animal.

Day 01: Kathmandu to Lukla Airport (2860 m), Hike to Phakding (2652 m) – 4/5 hours

Day 02: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441 m) – 5/6 hours

Day 03: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar

Day 04: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860 m) – 5/6 hours

Day 05: Tengboche to Jorsalle (2850 m) – 5/6 hours

Day 06: Jorsalle to Lukla (2860 m) – 5/6 hours

Day 07: Lukla to Kathmandu (1350 m) – 30 minutes by flight

Day 01: Kathmandu to Lukla Airport (2860 m), Hike to Phakding (2652 m) – 4/5 hours
Professional guide arrives your hotel in the morning. Reach the Kathmandu airport one hour before the flight. Kathmandu to Lukla flight takes 30 minutes with the views of Bhaktapur, snow-covered mountain, forest, village, and river valley. Lukla is the Sherpa Village with the Tenzing-Hillary Airport, lodges, tea shops, households, and school. The 3 hours hiking route descends through a forest to Cheplung, Ghat with the views of the Dudh Kosi River Valley and Mt. Kusum Kangaru to the Phakding village.

Day 02: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441 m) – 5/6 hours
The trekking routes forwards through a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. The hiking continues from the Thak Thok village and Banker with a view of Mt Kusum Kangaru, waterfall, river valley and pine forest. Check your permit at the Sagarmatha National Park. The trail descends to Jorsalle and hike to the Namche Bazaar crossing the Hillary Bridge with the view of Mt Everest (8848 m). Namche Bazaar has several lodges with a police check post, army camp, museum, and Monastery.

Day 03: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar
Make an acclimatization day pleasant visiting to Khunde and Khumjung village. Visit to the Hillary School, a Monastery with Yeti’s skull. Hike to the Everest View Hotel with the views of Mt Everest and the gorgeous river valley. Hike down to the Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight in Namche Village.

Day 04: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860 m) – 5/6 hours
Hike from Namche Bazaar to Pungi Tanga (3250 m) is 2:45-hour with an uphill and downhill tracks. Enjoy the views of River Valley, Mount Everest and Ama Dablam. Take a lunch, cross a bridge over the Dudh Kosi River, then hike to Tengboche in 2 hours. Tengboche is the Sherpa village with a Monastery, guest house,electricity, and the view of Mt. Everest.

Day 05: Tengboche to Jorsalle (2850 m) – 5/6 hours
Enjoy the views in the morning from a hotel room. Take a hot breakfast and walk back to Jorsalle. Descend to the river valley in 1:30 hours. The trail goes uphill to the Sangnasa. Enjoy flat trail to Namche Bazaar in 2:30 hours. Walk downhill to Jorsalle in 1: 40 hours. Stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 06: Jorsalle to Lukla (2860 m) – 5/6 hours
Hike in the National Park to check out your permit. Walk continue through the Monjo, Banker, and Phakding, Ghat, and Cheplung to reach Lukla. Reconfirm your next morning flight to Kathmandu. Stay overnight at a lodge in Lukla

Day 07: Lukla to Kathmandu (1350 m) – 30 minutes by flight
Take early morning breakfast, hike to the airport. Fly back to Kathmandu with the views of mountain, river valley, forest, village, and city. A taxi takes the hotel in 25 minutes.
