Guerrilla trekking

Guerrilla trekking denotes a 14-day challenging journey with 11 hours bus journey from Kathmandu to Beni. The exciting hiking route goes to Myagdi, Rukum, and Rolpa districts in Western Nepal. Trekkers visit a historic battlefield of Nepal Maoist rebels and the Nepal Army during the ten-year civil war (1995 to 2005). The American travel writer, Mr Alonzo Lyons and Chairman of the Maoist Party Prachanda launched the trekking on October 2, 2012. The remote mountain owns a beautiful landscape, fresh air, and snow-capped Mountain view of Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Gurja Himal (7193 m). Trekkers motivate by magnificent waterfalls, lakes, the Dhorpatan hunting reserve, and ethnic group territories.

Guerrilla trekking explains medium to strenuous hiking over high passes, Himalaya scenery, wildlife, and plant. In the past, these districts were Maoist capital. Tourists visit the former battlefields, damaged throughout the conflicts in Nepal. This place turned peaceful later in 2008. An amazing clustered, dispersed, beehive block house pattern, food habits, ethnic dress, and warm hospitality are unique. The remote village lacks modern technology with a paved road. Agriculture, animal husbandry, and caravan trading are the locals' professions. Winter remains cold with snowfall.

Guerrilla trekking is interesting in Nepal's history, which refers to a physically and mentally fit tourist. Trekking route found endangered wildlife, snow leopard, blue sheep, Himalayan Tahr, and numerous birds in Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. The farmers plant potatoes, buckwheat, and barley in the terraced fields. Visit once for a lifetime experience collecting information on the fascinating people and rural economy for sustainable development. The additional day-to-day itinerary is below.
