Island Peak Climb

Island Peak Climb at 6189 meters, located northeastern Himalayas in the Everest Region, near Chhukung (4710 m). It is known as Imja Tse like island shape mountain with snow on top. The last 100-meter ice climb is more difficult than, the easy climb, which takes  17 days journey with hiking. The view from the summit includes Nuptse (7879 m), Lhotse (8501 m) and Lhotse Shar (8383 m) in the north, Makalu (8463 m) in the east, Baruntse and Amadablem in the south. 

Island Peak climb is interesting with trekking to Everest Base Camp with 30 30-minute Kathmandu-Lukla flight. The hiking continues through Namche Bazaar (3441 m), Tengboche (3860 m) and Dingboche (4350 m). Dingboche is a trail junction of Everest base camp and Island base camp (5240 m). Trek to Kalapathar (5545 m) is acclimatization support to fitness. Walk 2:30 hours from Dingboche to Chhukung (4710 m), 3 hours before the Imja Tse. This trekking peak stands technical challenge.
