A café and restaurants are available here for the taste of local and international cuisines.  

Swayambhunath Stupa (1st century)

Swayambhunath Stupa is the most sacred Buddhist Temple situated top of a green hill with the majestic views of Kathmandu city, green hill, and snow-clad peaks.  An activity of the Assamese monkey, pilgrim, monk, and visitors are noticeable. The statue of Buddha (stone and bronze), monkey swimming pool, Vajradhatu  Mandala, 365 stone stairway, an architecture of the Stupa, Harati Temple (Children Protector), Vihara, and monastery, souvenir shop, art school, are worth exploring.
