Kanchenjunga climb is interesting to the third highest mountain (28168 ft) in the world that is located Northeastern in Nepal on the border of China, India, and Nepal. The Sikkim’s translates it ‘Five Treasures of the Great Snow.’ The five peaks are Kanchenjunga (8586 m), Yalung Kang (8505 m), West Peak (8420 m) and the Twin Peaks (8476 m). The mountain first climbed by the British expedition led by Charlie Evans on 25 May 1955. It lies 128 kilometres east of Mt. Everest.
Kanchenjunga climb is a pilgrimage tour. It believes the holy local deity of Sikkim’s, who rides the white horse with a fluttering flag at the top. This is a part of the Greater Himalaya. The German Expedition had been an attempt to climb since 1929. The first Nepalese Ang Phurba Sherpa climbed it on 14 May 1980. The summit has the north and south base camp. Several expeditions took summit, some of the climbers died. Walk 10 days to reach the base camp with huge glaciers and surrounding peaks.
Kanchenjunga climb lies in far eastern Nepal with a remote area that lacks modern technology. The trip starts at Basantpur after a two-day bus journey from Kathmandu or it takes a 45-minute flight to Suketar. Tea houses are not available there. It is essential all camping gears with the necessary staff for the expedition. The Conservation Area is interesting for plant and wildlife, including snow leopard, red panda, and orchid with rhododendron flowers.
