Mera Peak Climb

Mera Peak Climb presents an exhilarating opportunity for mountain climbing, situated to the northeast of Lukla and spanning an 18-day trek. Commencing with a brief 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the journey offers awe-inspiring views from the summit, including Kanchenjunga (8586 m) and Makalu (8463 m) to the east, Everest (8848 m) and Lhotse (8501 m) to the north, and Amadablam (6856 m) and Cho Oyu (8201 m) to the west.

Embark on the tea house trek from Lukla to Hinku and Hongu Valley, encountering yak pastures, moraines, glacial lakes, and forests along the trail. The peak was first conquered by J.O.M. Roberts and Sen Tenzing on May 20, 1953, with the ideal summit window falling between April to May and October to November. Mera Base Camp is 5300 m while High Camp is 5800 meters above sea level.
