Sarangkot (1592 m)
Sarangkot lies 8 km northwest of Lakeside, Pokhara, which realized the best tourist hill station with its sunrise plus close-up Himalayan views, Dhaulagiri (8167 m) Annapurna I (8091 m), Fishtail (6993 m), Lamjung and Manaslu (8163 m). Beyond the superb views of Pokhara Valley, Seti River, Phewa Lake, and World Peace Stupa, forested hills with surrounding villages are impressive. If you visit in the afternoon, glimpse the Paragliding view. Pokhara to Sarangkot takes 25 minutes of driving, which requires 40 minutes earlier sunrise time.
Davis Falls, Cave, & Tibetan village
Davis Fall was named later, 31st July 1961 incident of Mrs Davis, a Swiss Citizen. She swept away while a bath with her husband a few meters ahead of the waterfall. Her dead body was found by an effort. The source of the waterfall is from Phewa Lake. Gupteswor Cave is 2 km south of Lakeside, Pokhara. The cave exhibits limestone figures, the Shiva Temple, and the Davis Falls scene. Tibetan village lies 10 minutes away to the southwest with a carpet knitting room, showroom, settlement, and monastery.
