Chandragiri Day Hike commences at Chandragiri Hills Cable Car Station (1569 m-2520 m) through panoramic trails leading the Hattiban Resort and Pharping-Dakshinkali Road. Chandragiri Hill is 16 kilometres from Thamel, Kathmandu, and takes a 30-minute drive. Purchase a one-way cable car ticket for a thrilling trip above a forested hill station (15 minutes) with fascinating views of Kathmandu Valley, Langtang and Dorje Lakpa Himalayas.

Chandragiri Day Hike (14.9 km) usually takes 5-6 hours in a group, individual pace with a rest and photograph. The path is moderate level to pass six uphill sections with impressive views of the surrounding landscape, Kathmandu Valley, Annapurna to Everest Himalayas and endless ranges of hills. The hiking routes comprise stone steps, forest, downhill and uphill trails, witnessing lush green forests occasionally, and glimpses the panoramic views of the Himalayas and Kathmandu Valley on a clear day.

Along the trail, meet a few tea shops for tea and snacks, signposts, and sideways. Take only the middle walking paths leading Champa Devi Temple (2275 m) without left and right footpaths.
