Paragliding is the most popular adventure sport with parachute proper air pressure flies like birds with the views of mountains, villages, forests, river valleys, terraced fields. Sarangkot, Pokhara is one of the best paragliding locations in the world. Sarangkot (1450 m), 8 km north of Pokhara, offers the sport for breathtaking aerial views of Pokhara valley, Phewa Lake, snow-capped peaks, Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Annapurna (8091 m), Manaslu (8163 m). 

Paragliding proposes bird's eye views over forest-clad hills, valleys, cities, picturesque villages, rivers tackling with Himalayan Griffon, eagle, kites. Pokhara Nepal has 190 experienced Nepali and foreign Paragliding pilots. Each pilot flies a passenger at a time. Participants from Lakeside Pokhara takes half an hour driving to the Paragliding spot Sarangkot. October, November, and December are the best months for Paragliding. Bring a camera, warm clothes, shoes to start the adventure sport. Annual Nepalese and foreign pilots join the Paragliding competition in Pokhara. Tandem Flying 

Two riders of pilot and passenger fly the parachutes wearing a separate harness attached to the wing. The professional pilot flies a person for 15 minutes to 2 hours. The trip starts from a higher place of Sarangkot with proper air pressure. The passenger reached the view of snow-capped mountains later landed on flat ground near Phewa Lake. Wear warm clothes with light shoes. 

Tandem flying allows exploring mountains of north Pokhara valley (830 m) with a diverse landscape. Lammergeyer and vulture can tackle with you. The top three Tandem Flying trip is below. 

Cloud Buster 

They drive 25 minutes jeep from Pokhara to the starting place, Sarangkot (1450 m). The pilot flies above the Himalayas view lands on the ground near Phewa Lake. The flight lasts 20-30 minutes. 


The flight crosses a valley with a Himalayan view then lands near Phewa Lake. The trip lasts one hour. 

Acrobatic Flying 

The adventure trip with an experienced pilot includes Helicopter, SAT, Back-fly, Tumble, and Wingover. This exciting sport in the air lasts 20-30 minutes.
