Day 01: Hiking to Chisapani (2200 m) - 5/6 hours
We drive 40 minutes to Sundarijal (1390 m) northeast of Kathmandu. Trek goes through the Shivapuri National park. We cross the drinking water dam and climb uphill through the Tamang village Mulkharka (1895 m). The trail continues through rhododendron, oak and pine forest to the Borlang Bhanjyang (pass, 2440m) with the Mountain Views. The trail descends to Chisapani (cold water). There are few lodges to accommodate overnight.
Day 02: Chisopani to Nagarkot (1950 m) - 7/8 hours
Take a hot breakfast in the morning with a view of sunrise over the Himalayas. Hiking goes through the gravel road in Shivapuri National Park to the Jhule. The trail descends through an army camp to Chauki Bhanjyang. Take lunch and continue to Nagarkot via Kattike Bhanjyang. Stay overnight at a hotel in Nagarkot.
Day 03: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel (1450 m) - 6/7 hours
Take breakfast with the sunrise view over the mountain peaks. Walk a few paved roads with mountain rough trail crossing uphill, downhill, village, terraced field, forest to Dhulikhel. Stay overnight at the hotel in Dhulikhel.
Day 04: Dhulikhel to Namobuddha (1750 m) - 4/5 hours
Walk 15 minutes east of Kathmandu University and turn right. Pay an entrance and climb the stairway to the Kali Temple with a view of Langtang, Gaurishankar. Descend to Kavre Bhanjyang to cross the road. We hike uphill through a pine forest to the Namo Buddha. Explore Mountain view, Namo Buddha monastery with monks. Drive to Kathmandu by car. Stay overnight at the hotel with breakfast in Kathmandu.
